Here's another Coton picture you might want to save for the website. Isn't
he a cutie? I remember they got a "doggie condo" for this one.....their
parents live in Emmett. Glenda

Dear Sarah and Cindy,
I think of you both often and have wanted to send you an update on Mia and
thought this would be a good time since she turned one yesterday. She is just
a doll and brings much joy and delight into our home. I love her calm demeanor
and the fact that she is always aware of what I am doing? However, her best friend is
my five year old, Amy. She has maxed out at 5 1/2 pounds. Stephany, Texas
Cindy,
We are really enjoying the Bolonka puppies. We named them Sophie and Tess. I know Tess's mom was Tess (Theresa), but it just seemed to fit her. Also we wanted to stay true to their Russian roots! They are really sweet! And catching on quickly. They had a great check up at the vet too. They are so playful it's really hard to get a picture of them! They are usually either running around or napping and we hate to act like paparazzi when they're sleeping and wake them. They slept through the night the first night and have ever since! They usually get up the same time we do as well. I think having two together has really helped with that. In the evenings they sleep with us on the couch while we watch tv and before we put them to bed.
At the vet every single person that came in wanted to know what kind of dog they were! They also remarked about how cute they are.
Thanks!
Cindy, Sofie (Bolognese) had her first haircut! Margy, Florida
Here’s the latest pictures of Baxter and Teddy (Bolonkas). They are both so adorable and so sweet and love each other so much. Susan, Floirda

Hi Cindy
We have a lovely time with Pichon (Bolonka). She is such a good dog, playful, but very easy at the same time. We have a big patio and she goes out a lot. Yesterday we took her to a restaurant and she was really good. No trouble at all. We went to the vet on Saturday for her vaccination which was due on the 5th and she was according to the vet in excellent condition. Very healthy and a very good dog too. She hardly cried when she got the injection, though she certainly has a character :). We receive all over compliments for her. Thank you again for having taken care of her so well before shipping her to us.
Have a very nice day, Phillip Ilse Arthur, Florida

Hello Cindy and Glenda, Willow and Cricket, Ellis & I wish you a Merry Christmas ! Take care, Chris, Washington
Hi Glenda! I've been wanting to send you photos of my darling Phoebe, but time gets in the way. I promise to do so soon.
We've been having sooo much fun with her and she just loves having fun with us. Tonight will be her 3rd puppy class; yesterday we went to the movies for the first time and she didn't make a peep; we're making the rounds to all the small dog parks in the area and she's finally get used to dogs that weigh more than 6 lbs. We just "can't leave home without her"! Of course she understands "walk, car, treat, Pops, Ma, shhh" etc. Such a smart dog we have!! And I hate to tell you how many times we answer "Bolonka"... Everyone is so curious about her breed, background, appearance, etc.
I check your website every so often and they are all so adorable. Aren't we so lucky to have such beautiful babies!
Regards,
Anita & Ron,
Dear Cindy
Isabella is done with all her shots, she weighs 3.8 pounds . She loves her food. I brought her a Christmas dress ,so when I get it you will receive a picture if I can make her sit still. Hi Glenda! Sorry for the delay! We’ve been meaning to send you new pics for the past two weeks. I guess we have been too busy loving and enjoying (and training) Gino! As you can see, he is adorable, growing, and thriving in our home. He is a blessing to us all and has brought our family together. People rave about him wherever we go. Don’t be surprised if you get some e-mails from Bostonians looking for Cotons! HA! We have been attending puppy school for the past two weeks and he is doing great. He definitely has the sweetest temperament out of all the pups in the class. And we’re not just saying that because we are proud parents. He’s 5 months old today! He lost both of his canines on the bottom as well as 6 other bottom teeth and 4 on the top. He’s a toothless wonder! Potty training is also going well. He loves fetching and giving us constant kisses. Hope you are well and thanks again for our precious pooch!!!! Hope you like the pictures! And a Bit Later.....Hi Glenda, Gino graduated from puppy school! He was the star of the class!! Hope all is well! Katie-Nicole and Diane, California
I just had to send you this picture of Lucy ( Bolognese) and tell you that she is doing great. To me she is just perfect. I have to laugh at her antics as she is very adventurous and will try anything at least once. She sure lives up to her name!!! Yes, she is a bit spoiled; she sleeps on the pillow beside my head and sometimes decides to join me on mine. And with a basket full of toys, her favorite game is stealing socks and then the chase is on.
I hope all is well with you. I can't tell you how happy I am I found My Darling Dogs which led me to Lucy. As you can tell, I love her dearly.
Sincerely,
Mary
Hi Glenda!
How are you? It has been a few weeks since our beautiful puppy came home. I wanted to send you a note and tell you that Lika is doing great! She is adorable puppy and is making us all very happy. My son is completely in love with her and has already taught her to fetch us a ball! I've attached a few pictures for you - hope you like them!
Thank you again and again and again!
Sincerely, Julia,
Cindy
I am enjoying every minute with Sophie ( Bolognese) and she is getting bolder, more accustomed to her surroundings everyday. She is basically very well trained and goes on the paper 90% of the time when reminded. We had her to the vet who said she is very healthy and she is about 2 lbs.08 ounces. She is a love. I told Barney a very funny joke, he laughed.
Nice to see his photo on your site - from all the pictures i think Maya looks the most like him. Some nice looking dogs but i think Barney has the nicest look - not because he's mine but because of just the right facial proportions/shape for cuteness. That's probably why i chose him after looking at all other male pups that were available back then.Do you find owners whose dogs have reached an advanced age and the dogs pass, do they come to you looking to replace they're beloved dog or do they find it too traumatic and don't because they can't bear losing another dog? I can't imagine how sad the owners must feel - Barney has such a presence, coming up to me with his toy as soon as i sit down in the bathroom - sitting at the kitchen table he will bring his toy to me, leave it at my feet, then back up wagging his tail, lowering his head focusing on my toss, growling if i don't throw it and running full speed to chase it down, then shaking the life out of it before bringing it back to me. If i make a quick move toward him he will start running around the living room like he's on jet fuel, and he wans me to chase him. So much more... this is a dog that will walk into my bedroom early in the morning when i'm sleeping and stand up to my bed - nothing like feeling the bed move and seeing Barney inches from my face - i say hello Barney in a soft voice and i go back to sleep. He lays down in front of my closet a few feet away. Gary, New York
Hi Glenda,
I hope you remember us-I just wanted to drop off a line to you in celebration of Bandit's 1st birthday tomorrow! I have to tell you how much we love this dog!!!! He has been a pure joy to have this past 10 months. Bandit is a very bright boy and he never fails to make me smile. He's my little furry baby. I am truly in love with him. Yesterday we went to Manhattan and he behaved like he had been walking the city all his life. In the beginning of spring I took him to obedience classes and he learned to heel, sit, stay, retrieve and "leave it". By the way, he has been completely house broken for months now. He even scratches the door with his paw to let us know he needs to go out.
Bandit is admired wherever he goes, and we have even met some people who have heard of this breed (two people in the city yesterday). Bandit loves to play catch with his favorite balls (he has a few) or with a little stuffed blue man. He is so fast and agile. We tease that he has rabbit feet the way he leaps when he runs around.
We can't begin to thank-you for breeding these "treasures"-getting him was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
I am including a picture of Bandit just taken today!
Enjoy,
Maria, New Jersey
Hi Cindy,
We bought a male Bolognese puppy from you last September, and I just wanted to say thank you and tell you how much we have enjoyed him in our home. We named him Cosmo, He has been the sweetest, brightest, most loving dog we have ever been around. My wife and I both grew up with dogs, and had one dog before Cosmo. We expected one tough year of dealing with a new puppy before he settled in and was really enjoyable. Not the case, he learns quickly listens well and has become a member of the family. House breaking wasn't super fast but not bad. He quickly learned what toys were his and what he wasn't allowed to chew on. (he loves he's toys and I don't think he could ever get tired of playing fetch). Our two daughters (5 and 10) love him and he loves them. Cosmo loves to jump up on there beds and snuggle with them at bedtime. He has burrowed in and made a place in our hearts. If I were to try and imagine the perfect pet, or companion it would be Cosmo. Thank you so much. You have helped make our family complete.

Glenda... Here are some updated pics of Tater.
He is still shy around anyone to begin with. After a while he will start playing
with them. But he has to keep a eye on me at all times. If someone picks him up,
he keeps his head turned to me. With me he is a little tasmanian devil. Goes ninety
to nothing most of the time. He loves playing with other dogs. Then I don't exist, til
he gets tired. He weighs 5 lbs now. I just took him for his first grooming. They just trimmed eyes, feet
and ears. I can actually see he has eyes now. Before they blended in with the strands over
them and you couldn't see them.
He is just learning to pay attention well for training. He knows sit, lay, right paw up, left paw up,
and come. I'm working with him with tiny pieces of training treats. He was so funny tonight.
I wasn't fast enough for him. Before I could get another piece of treat broke off, he was sitting
there waving his paw at me. His attention span is still pretty short. Ten minutes and he's ready
to run again.
He catches on pretty quick. He takes his ramp very well. And the ladder steps. But, that's just
play to him now. Will add the commands as he gets older and can think and play at the same
time. Donna, Alabama

Dear Cindy,
Seth and I have been more than pleased with our puppy. "He's the
best," my husband tells me. He's smart, has a good balance of will and
submission, is playful, affectionate, and the cutest little guy.
Everywhere we go, we are stopped with questions about his breed and
personality. We get "He's such a fluff ball," "He doesn't look real,"
"Thats the cutest dog I have ever seen," "He looks like a stuffed
animal," "Aw!..," and "I want one." Sometimes we even have to avoid
busy places because we don't have time for all the attention he gets.
He has been crate trained since he came to us thanks to your
introducing the crate as a safe place. He hasn't even ever cried
through the night. He regularly uses his potty bell to tell us he
needs to go out and he isn't even four months old yet. Blaise was also
the star of his puppy kindergarten class...he can leave a peice of
chicken on his paw if we tell him to leave it. Anyways, he is our
delight and we are so grateful for the love and care he received from
you in his earliest moments. I truly believe it paved the way for him
to be the great little pup he is today. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Hi Glenda
How are you? Look at Kcoby lol.. He s so cute. Always talking with himself
with wierd noise ( like mumbling )
I think he thinks that boy in the mirror is a good looking thats why he
keeps saying things and smiling all the time.
You hv a wonderful day... Navada
Glenda and Cindy,
I received one of your dogs (Bolognese) "second hand" from my mother when Mom moved into an adult family home last fall. I was somewhat reluctant to accept Lizzie Darling because I was unsure if I really wanted the responsibility of a dog. I am writing you to let know she is the best companion. She is smart, playful and mostly obedient. I can't imagine not having her in my life.I have lived in my condo complex for 10 years and until I started walking Lizzie I didn't know many of my neighbors. I now know Jack, Ginger, Lucy, Katie, Bear, Gunner and their humans.
I just want to say thank you and let you know that Lizzie is happy, well loved and cared for. I live close to my mom and take Lizzie to visit regularly. Lizzie knows where Mom's room is and runs to her and jumps into her lap. If Mom is asleep she always wakes up with a laugh to see Lizzy in her face.
Warmly,
Darcy Taylor, Oregon

Hey Sarah, Look at our girl now (Bolonka)...She is more than SPOILED. I get my hair trimmed-she sits in my lap. I get fitted for contacts--she's in my lap. I get my teeth cleaned--she's in my lap. When I go shopping, she's in my pocketbook with her head and her front legs hanging out. She is quite a shopper! When I go to Walmart or any place shopping, I'm at least an extra ten minutes getting out because people stop me and say, "Oh how cute! What kind of dog is she?"

Hi Glenda,
How are you doing? Einstein has really mixed right into our family....he loves the girls...goes with us almost everywhere we go, and sleeps amazingly well. Last weekend we had him with us at a soccer tournament and someone asked us, "What breed of dog is that--stuffed animal?" Isn't that a hoot?!
Take care...hope all is well,
Julie,
"I bought a male Coton de Tulear from you in January, his name is Archibald. I just wanted to tell you that I absolutely love him. Archie even makes my boyfriend jealous! He said that our "relationship is borderline inappropriate". I think it's because I kiss Archie on the lips and cuddle him closer while we watch trashy reality TV together. HA! Again, thank you ladies so much for the love that you've made available to me!"

I awake every morning with my furry little friend curled up along side of me, and I thank God for this feeling of absolute love. My husband is just as pleased and we both feel we are truly blessed to have her in our lives. I melt when I hear her characteristic Coton grrrrrrrrrrr...and when she stomps her little paws...I could go on and on.....
My experience with My Darling Dogs, especially Sarah who I still communicate with til this day, was exceptional. You can tell they truly love their dogs and puppies. Great people, very accommodating, all about their dogs!! I would recommend them highly....that is how comfortable and confident I am with the way they conduct their service with the new puppy owners and how much I think of the superior quality of their puppies. A special Thank You to Sarah! I feel as if I acquired a friend for life. I am eternally grateful you choose us to be Tessa's family. You were so genuinely excited for us. We love you! :^) ?((((hugs))))
Last comment I want to make is, if you are contemplating
getting a puppy from My Darling Dogs.....do not hesitate, trust me you will not be sorry! You will find a companion beyond your utmost imagination...a true refection of how they are affectionately raised before they arrived at your doorstep. You too can find this incredible love that just gets better with every day!

I just purchased my first Coton De Tulear from Cindy and Glenda of My Darling Dogs and I have to say my life is forever changed. I found them on the internet and I have never purchased a dog having not seen them in person, so I was nervous. My experience with both Cindy and Glenda was absolutely wonderful. I must have called them twenty times and changed my mind at least twice and throughout the whole process they were so patient and willing to answer all of my questions. The first thing that I noticed when I picked her up at the airport was how well adjusted she was. She just looked up at me and tilted her head and it was then and there that I named her Dolly. Her demeanor clearly shows she was raised in a loving environment and not some kennel. I am forever grateful that I stumbled on to My Darling Dogs and I am looking forward to buying another little girl in the future. Thank you Cindy and Glenda for all the information and patience. Our Roxie ( Bolognese) is so wonderfu! We are just crazy about her. I haven't seen my husband this giddy over anyone in a long time. She weighed in yesterday at 3lbs 14 ozs. She's really growing fast, and is developing a sweet, sweet personality with a little bit of impishness, which I love. She's quite an extrovert. Roxie goes to work with me at my store every afternoon. All my employees and my customers love her. She has lots of attention and loves every minute of it. In the mornings she stays home with our housekeeper (who loves her almost as much as we do) who is helping us train her. She is about 98% potty trained and that was the easiest training I have ever done. She is just sooo smart. We are currently leash training her and she is doing well. She is retrieving her ragbones and her ball and is responding to "Sit". (At least sometimes.) I find that training her in every respect is easy. She seems to be happy learning. I am sending pictures. Please share them with Glenda. She is truly wonderful! Judy (South Carolina)

We just wanted to send you a quick "hello" and thank you again for allowing us to
bring such a wonderful member into our family. Blizzard is such a precious joy, and
is growing up so quickly, it is hard to believe that we just became family in
January. The "Blizz-bear", as we call him, is just the most increcible addition to
our small family (Bianca and I also have a Russian Tortoise named Sergei).
Blizzard is our best friend when times are great, and the most sympathetic when
times are grey. He loves to cuddle at the first opportunity, but also gets a thrill
out of chasing his stuffed friend "Pheasant" when he gets the chance. Blizzard can
sit, stay, lay down, and give "high-five" whenever requested. He is the protector
of the house and lets us know if he hears any noise that he doesn't recognize, and
"celebrates" when Bianca and I come home from work.
After only 8 months, it is so hard to express our sincere appreciation to you for
allowing us to add such a gift to our family. Blizzard is loved so deeply by each
of our families, and he is now the most important part of our extended family
conversations.
In June of 2008, Bianca and I will be married in Germany. As Blizzard is such a
huge part of our lives, we have already named him the "Best Dog" and he will be
enjoying our special day with us.
We want to thank you and your family once again for your early guidance,
communication, support, and comfortable addition of Blizzard into our family. We
have been so blessed with his presence and would not know what to do without him.
Thanks again for all that you have done,
Doug and Bianca

After having been on a waiting list for a Bolognese puppy for a few months, I was lucky to find My Darling Dogs on the Internet. My experience with Cindy has been absolutely wonderful. She was very responsive via e-mail as well as phone. She helped me prepare to receive my new little puppy as well as fill me in on lots of great tips for caring for a dog. I have had my new little man, Charlie, for over a month now, and he is wonderful. Cindy did a super job of socializing him, so that he is not afraid of anything. He is rambunctious, yet lovable at the same time. Cindy still offers suggestions and tips as I experience "the joys of puppyhood" for the first time. I often e-mail questions to her, and she gives me the same prompt response time and kind consideration. My husband and I thrilled with our new little guy. I highly recommend Cindy as a terrific breeder!

I never before realized the benefit of getting a dog through a breeder until now. I had always heard concerns about puppy mills, specifically, the concern about possible genetic problems resulting from careless breeding. The main benefit I have found is that our dog "Coconut" came about 80% pre-house trained because its dog mother was trained already, and it just followed her lead. This is an enormous benefit. Other puppies I have had required the work of a new infant! My dog is very sweet and companionable - he acts like a dog who has been given alot of care and attention. The breed just seems to be sweet, affectionate, and calm. My pup is not an aggressive or yippy dog. Coconut is an elegant looking animal - he does not have the common look of a poodle or Bichon. People who love dogs are very interested in him because the Coton is not a common breed in the United States, so there's very much a "show off" factor!!!! Last, but most importantly, I have allergies to everything. When I had the allergy testing done, I am allergic to all 400 samples! This Coton is the FIRST dog in my entire life that I am not allergic to - his saliva (if he licks my arm or hand) does not make me itch. I have no sneezing, runny nose, itching, or skin irritation. This little dog can curl up on the couch with me, and I don't have to take a sudafed, or go wash my hands immediately. Yay! Yay! Yay! The reason I chose Glenda as a breeder is because on the telephone it was clear that she loves her animals. This dog is the dog love of my life! Thanks so much for sending him to me! Kindest regards,
Gretchen (Pennsylvania)
Cynthia,
My grandmother and grandfather could not be happier with the beautiful puppy. I will send you pictures soon, thank you so much, I think a new puppy is really good for the soul. My grandmother said that you were very sweet she enjoyed meeting you as well. We will be in touch, thank you for making this such a great experience, take care, Shannon, (Boston MA)
